CF-2 repeater magnetic compass is a new type navigator for repeating the course heading indicated by the standard magnetic compass . Its outline and installation method is quite different from the traditional mechanical compass , it has small volume and can be used for flush mounting 、wall mounting or desk mounting . It can transmit the course heading indicated by the standard magnetic compass to any places of the vessel where the course heading are needed but are unsuitable to install magnetic compass . Repeater magnetic compass also can be used acting as heading repeater compass for gyro compass in the middle and large vessels which are equipped with gyro compass .
